Oded Orbach, one of two U.S. citizens among a group of men accused in 2011 of trying to sell weapons to people they thought were Taliban militants, was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Wednesday in Manhattan federal court.

Orbach, 55, and former U.S. Army translator Alwar Pouryan, the other U.S. citizen netted in a sting, were convicted in April of conspiring to provide material support to terrorists and conspiring to acquire anti-aircraft missiles.
